Being a big fan of the first, I was already going to pick this up day one. Not much to say here, but if you aren’t into card system battling and Sakuraba music, this one isn’t for you. Screw Nintendo for renaming this from Baten Kaitos II to Origins.

Japanese box art, I know. I’ve already played the JP version and loved every bit of it, but I’m not sure I will be able to say the same for the NA version (mainly because I don’t believe anyone will match Lezard Valeth’s JP voice actor.) It’s more than likely that I won’t even have the time or patience to play through it either, already knowing what happens. There are A LOT of connections and references to Lenneth, so if you have not played Lenneth you won’t get as much out of the game as you should.
