Ahh, finally… an RPG I can really sink my teeth into. Just the fact that its been only a couple of days after release and I’ve put about 24 hours into it really says a lot about it. I can’t count the number of recent RPGs I’ve played that are only 24 hours long at most and have taken me forever and a day to get motivated enough to spend time with it. If you’re really into JRPGs and haven’t picked this up/imported it a long time ago, something is wrong with you.

A quick list of stuff I’d like to mention so far:

The difficulty is awesome. Trash monsters will give you a rough time if you aren’t exploiting their weaknesses. Most bosses live up to their name, requiring you to pull out all the stops.

The high school sim stuff is pretty fun; I’m loving all the side stories and choice-making.

Stop calling me, Kenji. I don’t want to hang out with you on Sundays.

When was the last time I played a game with anime cutscenes? Who knows, but thanks P3 for having them. Actually I just remembered Atelier Iris 2 had some, but I played that super late anyways so that doesn’t really count.

I’m sure theres a few more things I love, but I’m short-circuiting at this time of day.
