It’s been quite a while, so here’s an update out of guilt. First things first, I’ve got a ton of games to play right now along with Warcraft, which makes me a very happy panda. If for some reason you haven’t gotten word of a new indie game called Aquaria, you might want to do yourself a favor and check it out.
I’ve played a bit of it and it’s safe to say that for whatever it’s worth, it has my recommendation. The graphics are gorgeous, and the soundtrack is great. That’s two reasons to go get it already. They’ve got a demo for you to try out, and if you like it, see what you can do about supporting these guys so we can see more games like this. There are people out there who still enjoy well made 2D games, right?
Anyways… time for the main course. I just recently acquired a Wii, so…

Mmm… Fire Emblem. I’m coming for you, Mia! Not too much to say about Radiant Dawn except that it’s gonna be awesome to reassemble my killer teams from Path of Radiance. Prime 3 and Galaxy kind of pale in comparison to how much I wanted to play Fire Emblem, but don’t underestimate them because of how small I made their box art pictures. I’ve given both of them a little whirl and they’re pretty fun.
Coming from a long period between playing Prime 2 and 3, the new Wii controls will take some time to get adjusted to, but that doesn’t matter to me. I just wanna go into Hyper Mode already!
Galaxy is probably the most refreshing out of the two, and deservedly so. Shooting around planets and collecting stars has proven to be simple, yet really, really fun stuff.
I had more I wanted to talk about, like the recently announced Fragile from Bandai-Namco, but I’m getting that lazy moment so I’ll save it for another time.
