good luck, kid

Finished Devil Hunter mode the other day. Probably start on Son of Sparda today. I still stand by what I said earlier. Sure, it’s short. I only mention this because I enjoy the length of RPGs and such. But within that short time is probably one of the most enjoyable action gaming experiences by far. I remember seeing scans for early reviews of DMC4 complaining about the difficulty and it makes me wonder who they get to review these games. Devil Hunter felt just right for someone who’s not particularly good at the genre. In any case, good job Capcom. Now can we see a next-gen Breath of Fire please?

Lost Odyssey

I’ve been hearing mostly nice things about Lost Odyssey. My opinion on most games generally fall within close range of Gametrailers’ reviews, and it just so happens they reviewed it a while ago. It seems like Mistwalker hasn’t learned from their mistake from Blue Dragon with certain laggy scenes. I can only attribute it to too many particle effects again I suppose. The EN voice acting seems a bit iffy for some characters as well, but it seems tolerable from what I’ve heard. Kind of a shame that that had to be mentioned, since the VA cast includes Michael Bell, who will always be first and foremost to me “the voice of Dark Fact”. I’ll probably be picking this up day one.

EDIT: That reminds me… hurry up and spit out the details for Ys 7, Falcom!

Sure is nice that Lost Odyssey will come with like 4-5 different language setting or something. Should be fun (and hilarious) to check that out!
