It’s been a while. I should have been posting a little bit more frequently after Lost Odyssey came out. If you haven’t already heard by now, the game is pretty great if you’re looking for an JRPG to get into. The writing in particular (especially for the Thousand Years of Dreams stories) is by far the best I’ve ever seen in an RPG, and for that matter probably the best part of the game. Mistwalker still hasn’t learned some lessons from Blue Dragon, however, with problems like laggy scenes or long loading times plaguing a good part of the game. Then of course there was also the 4th-disc-in-a-paper-case thing. Why skimp out on the US release when every other region got a nicer box to hold them in? Never, ever do that again.

Old stuff, but recent Tales of Vesperia news has made me even happier to be a 360 owner. Voiced skits? Oh. My. GOD. It’s gonna be great. Not to mention the high def screens I’ve seen look pretty damn gorgeous. Symphonia: Dawn of the New World should be fun too… though did they really have to change the name? This must be the work of the Radiant Dawn people.

Also, blah blah something-something Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It’s fun. I don’t see why people get so rabid over it though. Then again, I’m the same way about other games so… eh. I suppose I just got tired of all the hype people have been throwing around.
